Musical echos drifting through an empty mall

10/05/???? - It's been 5 weeks since it happened. I still have not found another human, but my search continues.

10/07/???? - I thought I heard an animal today, but it turned out that it was just garbage being blown by the wind. I'm tired of these disappointments.

10/08/???? - I came across a town. Still, nobody. There's a mall here, the overhead speakers are still playing music, must have been on when 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 happened, left to continuously play since there is no one to shut it off. I could turn it off but the music sounds nice, and I don't think I could stand the silence.. It's off-putting being in such an empty mall. I'm so tired. So tired. I think I might spend the night here.
